Michael Milad currently holds the position of Executive Vice President Technology and Engineering at SUPERNAP International where he is responsible for transferring SUPERNAP data center network knowhow, technology and engineering to new markets outside the USA, as well as helping the company’s local partners to assess, implement and adapt the technology locally.
Prior to this position he was VP Technology at LINKdotNET, the leading Internet Service and Solutions Provider in Egypt. Michael was responsible for forming and implementing the overall operation strategies that serve the ISP business from a commercial, financial and technical perspective. On the tactical front he was heading all operational activities carried on across a nationwide fixed network that offers ISP and Hosting services to both consumer and business customers. Michael’s responsibilities included all technical due diligence, design, architecture and operations.
Previously, Michael was responsible for the technical preparation phase of the Orascom Telecom Holding’s ISP businesses in Algeria, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, covering due diligence, regulatory issues and technical architecture.
Michael has significant executive level experience in the fixed services and ISP industry and has held a wide range of jobs during his career, including customer experience knowhow, technical knowhow, product development as well as expertise in market competition, industry trends and experience in the field of regulations. His international and national operations skills cover a wide range of duties including design, implementation, and consulting roles.
Michael received a B.Sc. in Communications Engineering from Helwan University, Cairo in 1996.
